I gcomhréir le hAlt 177AE (4)(a) de na hAchtanna um Pleanáil & Forbairt (arna leasú) agus na riachtanais mar atá leagtha sna Rialacháin um Pleanáil & Forbairt 2001 (arna leasú), tugtar fógra leis seo go bhfuil sé beartaithe ag Comhairle Chontae na Gaillimhe cead a iarradh ón gCoimisiún Pleanála don fhorbairt seo a leanas;
Tá sé beartaithe léibhéal an bhóthair áitiúil den triú grád (L-52214) ag an seoladh thuas a ardú. Sé fad an bhóthair a bheidh le n-ardú ná 200m. Sén uasmhéid airde a chuirfear leis an mbóthar ná 1m ós cionn léibhéal an bhóthair mar atá. Beidh claífort cloiche chaon taobh den bhóthar, le ballaí cloiche íseal ag léibheál an bhóthair nua. Déanfar uasghrádú ar an líonra draenála, na seirbhísí uisce, sconsaí agus comharthaí rabhaidh.
Ullmhaíodh Ráiteas Tionchair Natura i leith na forbartha beartaithe.
D’fhéadfadh an Coimisiún Pleanála cead a thabhairt don fhorbairt le coinníollacha san áireamh, nó gan coinníollacha ar bith, nó d’fhéadfadh an Coimisiún diúltú don fhorbairt.
Beidh an Measúnú Tionchair Natura, chomh maith le tuarascáil don fhorbairt atá beartaithe, ar fáil le iniúchadh a dhéanamh air saor in aisce, nó is féidir iad a cheannacht ar tháille bheag (nach mbeidh níos daoire ná an costas réasúnach a bhaineann le cóip den chineál sin a dhéanamh) le linn gnáth-uaireanta ofige (9:30 r.n. go 4:00 i.n. Luain go hAoine, seachas saoire bainc) i rith an tréimhse seo, Dé Luain an 14ú Mí Iúil go dtí Dé Máirt an 26ú Lúnasa 2025, sna háiteanna seo a leanas:

NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO AN COIMISIÚN PLEANÁLA FOR APPROVAL
PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF A ROAD IMPROVEMENT, COASTAL FLOOD MITIGATION AT
CUAN NA LOINGE, CEANTAR NA NOILEÁN, CONAMARA, CO. GALWAY.
Pursuant to Section 177AE of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended) and the requirements of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 (as amended), notice is hereby given that Galway County Council proposes to make an application for approval to an Coimisiún Pleanála for the following development:
It is proposed to raise the elevation of the local tertiary road (L-52214), at the above address. The length of road to be raised is approximately 200 metres. The maximum increase of road elevation will be 1.0 metre above the existing road level, with natural rock armour embankment and natural stone parapet walls on each sides together with associated drainage, water services, fencing and signage upgrades all in accordance with plans lodged.
A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared in respect of the proposed development.
The Coimisiún may, in relation to an application for approval under section 177AE, of the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended, may give approval to the application for development with or without conditions or may refuse the application for development.
The Natura Impact Assessment, together with Plans and Particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection free of charge, or may be purchased on payment of a small fee (which fee shall not exceed the reasonable cost of making such a copy) during normal office hours (9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays), except where stated otherwise below, during the period from Monday 14th July to Tuesday 26th August, at the following locations;

Submissions or observations regarding the proposed development may be made in writing to An Coimisiún Pleanála in relation to;
- the likely effects on the environment of the proposed development.
- the implications of the proposed development for proper planning and sustainable development in the area in which it is proposed to situate the proposed development; and
- the likely significant effects of the proposed development on a European Site, if carried out.
