We strongly oppose the inclusion of this portion of our land which currently forms an integral part of existing farm operations within the RZLT. We are a farm family are private landowners who utilize the land for food production spanning multiple generations in our village of Derrymullan. We have not caused or influenced the current housing policy and are not building speculators or developers withholding land from residential development so should be exempt from the RZLT tax. We wish to just farm the land and wish for the land to be zoned for agricultural use and have no liability for RZLT on the two parcels identified above in Derrymullen, Ballinasloe, Galway.
