Interreg Europe SLOWDOWN Project: East Galway Trail Audit Survey
Interreg Europe SLOWDOWN Project: East Galway Trail Audit Survey
Galway County Council is undertaking an audit of walking trails across East Galway as part of the Interreg Europe SLOWDOWN Project.
The purpose of this survey is to gather information on existing walking trails, including route characteristics, accessibility, facilities, infrastructure, visitor experience and trail maintenance. The findings will contribute to the development of a comprehensive trail inventory and help identify opportunities to support sustainable tourism, outdoor recreation and the digitalisation of trails across the region.
Trail managers, community groups, landowners and other stakeholders are invited to complete the survey and share their knowledge of local trails.
