Under Section 38 of the 1994 Road Traffic Act, a Road Authority may in the interest of the safety and convenience of road users provide such traffic calming measures as it considers desirable in respect of a public road in its charge.
Galway County Council proposes to install traffic calming measures, subject to available funding at Lakeview Estate, Glennmaddy (Road No L-65139). The works will involve the instillation of a tapered side ramp, signage & road marking.
Drawings showing the proposed works are available online onconsult.galway.ie and may also be inspected, during normal opening hours, from Friday, 13th September 2024 to Monday, 14th October 2024 at: Galway County Council, Aras an Chontae, Prospect Hill, Galway, H91 H6KX and at Ballinasloe Municipal District, Civic Offices, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, H53 A7K7.
Representations relating to the above-mentioned proposed works may be made in writing to the Senior Executive Engineer, Galway County Council, Ballinasloe Municipal District, Civic Offices, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, H53 A7K7, or electronically via https://consult.galway.ie/
