Litir Chumhdaigh
I am a local resident and business owner in Oughterard and am totally shocked that even more areas locally have been zones acceptable in principle we already have the large set wind farm in Ireland and do NOT need anymore locally! Save Rural Ireland!
I can wish to strongly oppose the zoning of any hills valleys or mountains in areas of highly scenic value from Oughterard back further toward Connemara.
Oughterard already has largest wind farm in Ireland and therefore has done its part we do not need any more.
I am well aware of the proposed wind farm in Maam Cross which will destroy a highly visual areas of outstanding ural beauty.
Mir would totally destroy many many businesses and sample villages even as far as the other side of Louth corrib would be effected.
these areas must be kept clear of any zoning and certainly not made acceptable in principle.
I am also aware of a further delay ind farm under discussion from new village Derroura then in time to connect to Maam Cross.
our tourism is high we all rely on heavily will be gone!
please remove these areas from your maps.
I also strongly oppose to more wind turbines in the heavily populated area of inverin and here peoples lives are already been effected by the current wind turbines.
