I am emailing you with a submission regarding the County Development Plan 2022-2028.

It is in relation to the re-zoning of two fields on the Portumna to Woodford road, opposite Portumna Forest Park.

We would hope that the fields could be re-zoned from Agricultural to Tourism, as they were originally zoned Tourism in the previous Development Plan.

We would also request that the town boundry will be extended to include the two fields in question.

As Portumna is a small growth town, and Tourism is one of our main attributes, we feel that the re-zoning of these fields would be vital for the growth in Tourism due to their location, adjacent to the town and the Forest Park.

Please find the attached map, indicating the location of the fields. (hatched in black)
