We note that the subject lands are predominantly zoned ‘Residential (Phase 1)’ with the south-eastern corner of the lands being zoned ‘OS- Open Space/Recreation & Amenity’/‘Constrained Land Use’. In the first instance it should be noted that our client welcomes the proposed land use zoning of ‘Residential (Phase 1)’ on the subject lands and we would request that these are retained in the adopted Galway County Development Plan 2022-2028. This submission primarily pertains to the south eastern corner of the subject lands and the area zoned ‘OS- Open Space/Recreation & Amenity’/‘Constrained Land Use’.
