In accordance with the provisions of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994, Galway County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to: Install Junction enhancement schemes to improve safety, along the R446 at the junction of L-7107 and L-8101 at Oran Beg (Furey’s Cross).
The works include:
• Removal of right turning Lane towards Frenchfort along L-7107
• Alteration to Junction layout • Inclusion of new line marking at Junction of R446 with L-7107 near water tower
• Provision of new road lining and signing
The latest date for receipt of representations through online portal is 12 noon on Friday 12th July 2024
